Aquarium Heater Temperature Control
At the top of each aquarium heater you will find the temperature controller. Alternately heater controllers can also be seperate units which the heater pugs into. There will either be a dial or a knob which can be adjusted to select the desired aquarium temperature. It is good practice to double check the temp control using a thermometer to ensure accuracy.
For most tropical fish you will be using a level somewhere between 24 and 28 degrees Celsius. Each species will have an optimum temp so research this before adjusting your heater controller.
